Women’s Cancer Initiative

The Women’s Cancer Initiative (WCI) is NCC’s program that is developing long-term capabilities and self-sustainable programs related to breast and cervical cancer - early detection, prevention, education and treatment.  We are in the process of implementing this initiative in stages in both Peru and Ghana, with established NCC partner clinics, in an effort to provide advanced women’s cancer care leveraging modern technology , products and equipment in order to reduce the high mortality rate in these regions.  While breast and cervical cancer remain two of the leading killers of women in the developing world, the National Cancer Coalition is working tirelessly to change this reality and make a significant impact on women living with the disease.
